KEC International wanted to modernize how its teams managed railway electrification block hours. Its existing workflow depended on paper notes, WhatsApp messages, and manual coordination, resulting in delays, safety risks, and zero real-time visibility for leadership.
Their goal was to build a fast, reliable Progressive Web App (PWA) that worked seamlessly even in low-connectivity zones and acted as the operational backbone of every block hour, from guiding teams, preventing delays, improving safety, and ensuring full accountability from planning to execution.

Site Readiness Checklist
Supervisors complete simple, structured readiness checklists for each kilometer. If anything is missing or delayed, the Project Manager receives an instant alert along with deadlines, ensuring that every stretch is fully prepared before work begins.
Manpower Readiness System
Supervisors can tag labour based on skills, while the system checks if the same workers are booked at another site. It also sends auto-SMS notifications to subcontractors and maintains a master record with biometric details. This helps eliminate double-booking.
GPS-Based Truck Tracking
Every truck carrying material is tracked from the moment it leaves the supplier. The system provides live location, real-time ETA, and delay alerts to all stakeholders. This removes guesswork and helps teams plan work more efficiently.
Material Issuance & Barcode Workflow
TrackPlanner matches site requirements with available inventory, supports barcode scanning during issue and loading, and updates SAP automatically. This reduces manual errors, prevents wrong items from being dispatched, and brings full traceability into the material movement.
Biometric Labour Attendance
Before block-hour, supervisors collect biometric attendance on-site. The system matches it against the assigned labour list and sends alerts if there is a mismatch. This improves safety, compliance, and accountability during critical work windows.
