Business Overview
DocTrace company based Texas, US, who provides reliable engineering solutions to builders, contractors, and homeowners. As this process requires transactions of lots of legal documents, hence they wanted to develop a highly secure and easy document management tool for their customers.
Due to paper documents, they were facing lots of difficulties like counterfeiting, can be lost , verification was hard, consuming more time and cost.
Together Client and SoluLab come with a very effective solution powered by blockchain which replaces physical documents with electronic documents that will be issued by a provider and sent to a receiver in very less time.
The Challenge
One challenge was to make the platform completely decentralised, for that we need to convert media files into string before storing on the blockchain.
To define access control for each record with different public/private key pair.
We face certain complexities in providing a facility to share documents on social media by making the private key of a particular document public.
Also it was difficult to properly maintain versions of the document as a single process.
