Our client is based in Ghana, Africa. We have engaged ‘Paul-Miki, the founder of Kadi Energy Company who wanted us to develop an IoT powered web-based platform to receive, analyze monitor the data, and insights from the Kadi energy devices.
Kadi Energy provides sustainable, reliable, and grid-independent energy solutions. Our company helped Ghanaians access power wherever they are: working, travelling or at home.
The solution includes web-based applications and dashboard development for admin/ internal staff and enterprise customers, backend IoT server development and mobile apps development.
One of the major challenges we faced was to develop the Communication Protocol to gather the data from the device and sync with the IoT cloud.
Another vital obstacle we faced was to define the scale of the data, i.e; how much data to keep, how much data to flush after a certain time and long term statistics.
Our team developed a data storage framework to store raw data, refine data and user-specific data.
We started working on this project in November 2019. We ensured that admin and enterprise users who will use this application can easily view their energy consumption. With this application, we were able to create a system that records, stores, and helps users visualize data with data analytics. It was one of the colossal achievement for our team because of its complexity.
